Organic Elegance on Block Island
In the summer of 2022, Team Stoneblossom embarked on an enchanting journey to Block Island, where we were tasked with transforming a stunning wedding venue into an organic paradise for K+K. The design plan was carefully curated between our designers, the couple, and Jenna Regan of Ladybird Event Co. The vision was fresh and organic, while remaining elegant and chic. With our trucks packed full of beautiful blooms and textured foliage, we were ready to create a stunning display that would bring the couple’s floral fantasy to life!
As guests arrived, they were greeted by an enchanting aisle adorned with beautiful floral accents at each chair, creating a path of lush, fragrant blooms leading the way to the arbor. The heart of the ceremony was a lavish, white wedding arbor full of abundant blooms of garden roses, orlaya, spirea, and delphinium artfully designed on a lush base of textural foliage. This striking structure served as a beautiful backdrop for vows, framing the couple with romantic white blooms as they shared their first kiss.
The celebration continued under a magnificent reception tent, transformed into a magical setting with billowing vines cascading from above. An abundant canopy of greenery covered the entirety of the reception tent, creating an intimate, immersive atmosphere, perfect for celebrating the love of the couple. Below, long guest tables are styled with organic garlands composed of deep greenery that run the length of the table. Intertwined throughout the garlands are beautiful pops of white blooms, and abundant romantic candlelight, filling the space with a warm romantic glow.
K+K’s wedding on Block Island was a sensory experience filled with love, laughter, and the beauty of nature. From the lush wedding arbor to the intimate ambiance created in the reception space, every detail was designed to honor the couple’s vision and to leave a lasting impression on guests. We are honored to have been a part of such a memorable occasion, and are excited to create more unforgettable moments in the future. Whether it’s a grand wedding or an intimate gathering, we believe that every moment deserves to be celebrated amidst the beauty of nature.
