A Beautiful Bayside Wedding
There’s something undeniably magical about a wedding set against a stunning natural backdrop, and the al-fresco wedding of R+J was no exception. This late August wedding took place at a stunning bayside estate in Manchester by the Sea. Hosted in a beautiful glass-top tent nestled within the lush gardens of the bride’s family home, the atmosphere was simply enchanting. The overall feel was ultra-romantic, and was carefully curated in tandem with the couple and Keri at Always Yours Events. Our design plan celebrated natural beauty and organic, garden style arrangements, styled with a collection of campo di fiori compotes and glowing candlelight.
The existing natural landscape blended seamlessly with the floral arrangements to create a cohesive, organic feel within the event space. The glass-top tent allowed natural light to flood the space, illuminating the blooms and enhancing their colors, while the surrounding gardens provided a lush, intimate backdrop for an evening of dinner and dancing. The property added to the romantic ambiance, seeming to transport guests overseas to a charming European Villa.
Our designers loved the opportunity to forage fresh florals from our own garden at the studio for this wedding! There’s something special about using locally sourced blooms that truly elevates each design. Each flower tells a story, and these fresh elements not only enhance the overall aesthetic but also imbue the arrangements with a sense of personal connection. As we designed the floral arrangements, our aim was to reflect the natural beauty of the surroundings. Soft, romantic blooms in pastel hues were combined with lush greenery, creating arrangements that seemed to spring naturally from the ground itself. Artfully styled with a collection of hand-selected candlelight, the air was sophisticated yet intimate.
Working on this wedding was truly a dream. From the initial consultations to the final touches, it was inspiring to see the couple’s vision come to fruition so beautifully. This dreamy wedding was a testament to the power of nature and the art of floral design coming together. By blending the natural landscape with thoughtfully curated floral designs, we created an experience that was not only visually stunning but also deeply personal, that celebrated the love of R+J.
