Organic Elegance on Block Island
In the summer of 2022, Team Stoneblossom embarked on an enchanting journey to Block Island, where we were tasked with transforming a stunning wedding venue into an organic paradise for K+K. The design plan was carefully curated between our designers, the couple, and Jenna Regan of Ladybird Event Co. The vision was fresh and organic, while remaining elegant and chic. With our trucks packed full of beautiful blooms and textured foliage, we were ready to create a stunning display that would bring the couple’s floral fantasy to life!
Botanical Bliss in Saunderstown
In the golden hues of mid-September, C+T tied the knot in true Stoneblossom style, set against the backdrop of a stunning private estate. Our team partnered with Sarah Lema of Mavinhouse events and the couple to create a design plan that brought C+T’s wedding vision to life with a touch of botanical enchantment. The color palette was a soft yet striking blend of light, romantic blooms in shades of white, lavender, and soft blue, beautifully accented by lush, variegated greenery.
A Lavish Lavender Wedding
In late September, team Stoneblossom traveled to the picturesque Weekapaug Inn in Westerly, RI to celebrate the union of L+B, surrounded by luscious lavender blooms. The waterfront inn and its gorgeous grounds were the perfect host to the celebration. From start to finish, the design of the wedding was meticulously curated with carefully selected blooms, expertly arranged to create a magically immersive guest experience.
Seaside Elegance in Bar Harbor
In August, A+L celebrated their love with a stunning wedding in Bar Harbor, ME at a venue boasting picturesque views and charming coastal ambiance. Our designers partnered with Paula Morrero to dream up a design plan that reflected the serene beauty of the coast and incorporated elements that felt both elegant and relaxed. The wedding design beautifully embraced a coastal chic aesthetic, which was complemented by lush florals and personal touches, creating an intimate atmosphere for an evening of romance.
A Beautiful Bayside Wedding
There’s something undeniably magical about a wedding set against a stunning natural backdrop, and the al-fresco wedding of R+J was no exception. This late August wedding took place at a stunning bayside estate in Manchester by the Sea. Hosted in a beautiful glass-top tent nestled within the lush gardens of the bride’s family home, the atmosphere was simply enchanting. The overall feel was ultra-romantic, and was carefully curated in tandem with the couple and Keri at Always Yours Events. Our design plan celebrated natural beauty and organic, garden style arrangements, styled with a collection of campo di fiori compotes and glowing candlelight
An Enchanting Seaside Affair
On an enchanting August eve in 2023, K+J shared their vows in a sweet sea-side chapel ceremony, before celebrating in a glorious tented wedding with their closest friends and family. The vision for this ocean side soiree was lush, and organic, marrying together the quintessential coastal elegance of Newport with the whimsical, romantic style of an English Garden. We worked closely with Stasia and the planning team at Exquisite Events to thoughtfully conceptualize the perfect color palette and design plan for this al fresco celebration. The floral selection embraced the best of the season, including dahlia, garden roses, french lavender, thistle, and delphinium, creating a truly immersive floral story within the space.
‘Till Death Do We Part
Fall weddings are becoming increasingly more popular over the years, and October has won itself the title of most popular wedding month, with a whopping 20% of all weddings in 2022 occurring in October! Of those couples who chose to make October their month of marriage, some choose a classic fall palette, while others embrace the moodiness and dark romance of the Halloween season. When C+J tied the knot on an early October eve, they went for a deep, bold, romantic color palette that sent a shiver down their guest’s spines.
July in Jamestown
When you picture a quintessential coastal summer, what do you picture? For us at Stoneblossom we envision a plethora of lush greenery and grasses mixed with textured accents, hues of ocean blues, and bountiful summer blooms. We knew when Brett & Deanna of La Maison Fete asked us to join the team for K+O’s Jamestown Wedding that it would be a celebration of all the greatest elements of a classic New England summer. Incorporating a color palette of gorgeous natural blooms with touches of blue, and draping natural greenery we transformed the private residence into a celebration of coastal components.
Ocean Blue Hues on Block Island
In late July of 2023, Team Stoneblossom packed our trucks and hopped on the ferry to Rhode Island’s infamous Block Island to celebrate the marriage of I+R. We worked closely with the couple and Stasia Anthony of Exquisite Events to curate a quintessential coastal design plan to highlight the gorgeous natural backdrop of the family’s private property. Bountiful blooms of blue delphinium were a main component throughout the design plan, as they were one of the couple’s favorite flowers. The soft summer palette was composed of creamy & light blush blooms that embodied the soft swirling colors of seashells, paired with statement blooms in hues of ocean blues, the floral arrangements were truly reminiscent of a day at the beach.
