A Fresh Twist at Castle Hill
When it comes to unforgettable weddings, the citrus-filled celebration of C+B at Castle Hill was undoubtedly a star from last season. From the moment guests arrived, the air was infused with a sense of joy, perfectly capturing the couple’s unique vision for their special day. Our team collaborated with the couple and Heather Drummond of Capital Blackbook Events to bring to life a vibrant and bold design plan perfect for this late September wedding.
As the sun began to set, the vibrant colors of florals and lemons glowed against the backdrop of Castle Hill. The warm tones of coral and orange harmonized with the yellows, creating a rich tapestry that felt both festive and romantic. This early fall color palette not only reflected the season, but also resonated with the couple’s love for nature and punchy colors.
At the heart of this enchanting wedding was a lush, organic trellis that was the focal point of the reception. Dripping with draped garlands of fresh lemons, this stunning structure floated over the head table, creating an immersive and whimsical atmosphere. Not only did the trellis enhance the visual appeal, but it also set the stage for a celebration that was both fun and elegant.
The striking trellis paired perfectly with bespoke lemon trees, designed naturally on the table tops, adding height to the room. Guest tables were artfully styled with lush compote arrangements overflowing with dahlias, garden roses, and ranunculus. Tucked throughout the florals were a mix of green taper and pillar candles, raised to different levels, to envelop the reception space in a warm romantic glow. Petite compotes of lemons were styled harmoniously within the tablescape, creating an immersive experience that delighted the senses. Guests were enveloped in a garden of color, where every detail told a story of joy and celebration.
