A Fresh Twist at Castle Hill
When it comes to unforgettable weddings, the citrus-filled celebration of C+B at Castle Hill was undoubtedly a star from last season. From the moment guests arrived, the air was infused with a sense of joy, perfectly capturing the couple’s unique vision for their special day. Our team collaborated with the couple and Heather Drummond of Capital Blackbook Events to bring to life a vibrant and bold design plan perfect for this late September wedding.
Venue Spotlight: Castle Hill
Stoneblossom is a Rhode Island based floral design house that has the privilege to flower all along the East Coast and beyond. While we love the opportunity to travel, we are also blessed to have wonderful venues right in our backyard in Newport! We love the opportunity to work at the infamous Castle Hill Inn on a regular basis.
A Quintessential Coastal Wedding
On a sunny July Day, A+I joined together in matrimony in true New England style at Castle Hill Inn. The event vision was conceived in tandem with the couple and Lia Bancroft, to create a quintessential coastal ambience, perfectly suited for this sea-side soiree. The color palette was composed of soft whites, creams, and blues with accents of darker blue blossoms for a pop of contrast. Lush July blossoms were the star of the floral designs, including blue hydrangea, garden roses, and lysimachia. Vintage blue & white chinoiserie vases played host to the abundant, layered floral arrangements adding a touch of charm to the overall design.
A Summer Sorbet Celebration
In late August of 2023, at Castle Hill Inn, our team crafted a celebration of citrus colors for S+J’s special day. In collaboration with Kerri at Always Yours Events, our designers dreamt up a design plan that was a bright composition of color and blended seamlessly to create a show-stopping palette of sun-kissed summer blooms. The striking sorbet blossoms popped against the natural coastal landscape, creating a bright and lasting impression from the ceremony throughout the reception.
